SPECTRE Team Roster

Name: Mark Maher

Callsign: Marcus Primus

Bio: Mark started playing paintball at the age of 10 and has been hooked ever since. His focus on leading teams through effective communication and desire to play with a group of friends who enjoy the game as much as he does led him to found SPECTRE in the Spring of 2006. He is also the team's designated gun tech.

Name: Jason Ferris

Callsign: Fingers

Bio: In the Spring of 2006, Jason received a Tippmann A5 as payment for a blacksmithing job. He started playing games and joined SPECTRE soon after, sharing the passion for the game displayed by the rest of the team's senior members. Jason works very well with or without teammates and holds his own in any firefight.

Name: Logan DeJohn

Callsign: Nuke

Bio: Logan started his paintball career with a bang. He met Eric Engler of Engler Paintball Guns fame in 2005 and joined Engler’s group for his first game at Castle Conquest at EMR that year. Suffice to say, he was addicted immediately. He met SPECTRE in 2006 and has played for the team since.

Name: Chris Cruz

Callsign: Cuban

Bio: Chris joined the team for the 2010 season, bringing tournament speedball experience, composure under fire, a love for scenario heavy weapons, and some much needed aggression to SPECTRE's roster.

Name: Joe Pasquence

Callsign: JoePa

Bio: Joe was another of SPECTRE's original members, joining the team during its infancy in 2006 after meeting the original members in Fairfield County, CT. He too has remained with SPECTRE ever since, taking the team name as far north as Vermont, where he currently goes to school.

Name: CJ Ferris

Callsign: JoCool

Bio: CJ and Jason became SPECTRE's first brothers in the Spring of 2008 with CJ's addition. Much like many of the younger members, CJ was welcomed to the team for his aggressiveness and willingness to learn. He is a solid team player whose mindset applies very well to the game of paintball.

Name: Christopher Ladd

Callsign: Leroy

Bio: Chris joined SPECTRE in the Fall of 2008 after allowing the team to use his private field for practice and scrimmages. Also a motocross racer and snowboarder, Chris considers adrenaline to be one of his primary food groups, and it shows on the field in his highly aggressive play style.

Name: Steve Fraleigh

Callsign: FNG

Bio: Steve met SPECTRE at Albany Scenario Club in the Fall of 2009 and came on as the first new member of the 2010 season. Steve's penchant for command and team play intricacies of the game make him an invaluable asset for scenario play. He is SPECTRE's foremost tank-hunter.

Name: Matt Ficinus

Callsign: Foxx

Bio: 2009 marked Matt's first season both in paintball and as a member of SPECTRE. The speed at which he learned the game surprised even the original members of the team, most of whom he can go toe-to-toe with on a regular basis. His infectious style of play demands he and everybody nearby be at the front line of the fight.

Name: Ernest Handau

Callsign: The Godfather

Bio: Ernie is the man responsible for introducing Mark to paintball. Though he isn't always on the field with SPECTRE, he has been made an honorary team member in recognition of the support he has always given the team. Even on days when he doesn't play, Ernie is at the field to help with gear and resupply. Oh, and he's a hell of a cook.

Name: Ryan Maher

Callsign: Hawkeye

Bio: Ryan's addition to the team made him and Mark SPECTRE's third brother-brother duo. His youth is hardly indicative of his skill. Anybody who says the transition from target shooting in the yard with a BB gun for 3 hours a day to playing paintball makes no difference clearly hasn't found themselves in his crosshairs.

Name: Eugene Glouzgal

Callsign: Jewce

Bio: Eugene joined the team in 2009 after a speedball tour with the CT Tropics. Well disciplined in both the speedball and scenario sides of the sport, he made an solid addition to the team. Presently, he is finishing his degree in Florida and representing the team there.

Name: Ryan Baring

Callsign: N/A

Bio: Ryan met the team at PSI's Heartbreak Ridge game in the Fall of 2009 and made a huge step up to assist the Command Staff with their assigned missions, leading to a knockout victory over Sean Scott. For his efforts, he is presently trying out with the team as a provisional member.
